Voting Matters: A Look at Voting Rights and Suppression after 2020

Join us for this free virtual event as we discuss current issues relating to voter registration and suppression in the LOU (Lafayette County, City of Oxford, and University of Mississippi) Community and across the Country. Speakers will include representatives from the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council Oxford to the Ballot Box initiative, Mississippi Votes, the Oxford Chapter of the League of Women Voters, and the UM Andrew Goodman Foundation Team. Brief presentations will be followed by what we expect to be a spirited Q&A with the panelists and attendees.

Panelists include: Caroline Leonard - UM Andrew Goodman Foundation Fellow;  Kynnedi Taylor-Henry - League of Women Voters Oxford-Northern Mississippi; Jarrius Adams and Jaycee Brown - Mississippi Votes); and Jon Winet - Oxford to the Ballot Box.
